I'll be taking a look at our apartment today and getting the paperwork in order so that when my husband looks at it tomorrow it should be an easy sign-our-life-away time.
Come Wednesday I get to start moving stuff in. That should be fun--the third floor with no elevator. I'll be getting a workout, that's for sure. My goal is to get mostly moved without the house we're in now looking much different. Right now the cabnets in the garage are empty and a few closets in the house are bare, or thinning out, but everything else looks the same. We run a Bible fellowship in our home, so we can't afford to have boxes everywhere.
I pick up a tub today. Kinda silly, but I got a great deal on a cool tub--the kind with the jets--that will eventually grace the upstairs of our home. I'm still deciding where to put it. So far we have a tub and a front door. Progress! Well, and land, a driveway, big hole where the house goes and a well. Not bad!
I'm thinking the logs will arrive the week after my daughter leaves.
Woah, there you go! A key for empty nesters--good planning makes for good fun. I plan on this chapter of my life being a good time.
